Includes:1 and 2, "Away down South in Dixie" and "Farewell to Good Old Times;" the same image with variant captions; 3. "Jeff the Dictator, Jeff the Dig 'Tater;" 4. "Wanted $15,000,000 LOAN for the C. S. A.." depicting a small black child in front of a placard; 4 and 5 , The Upshot of Secession, two variants, one in sepia, the other in red; 6 and 7, two distinctly different engravings of the same cover: An overseer cries "Come back here you black rascal." The leader of a group of slaves running toward Fort Monroe answers "Can't come back no how, massa, dis chile's CONTRABAN." The variant is entirely different both in the engraving as well as the caption which reads "Can't Koershun De's colours; we's de Butler Contrabans."
