From several photographs identified as members of the Gordon family, presumably assembled by one of them. Includes a known view of the Seabrook Plantation Mansion, Edisto Island "seen from the garden," and images of Isaac Brown Gordon, tuba player, and the unidentified cymbal player from the [50th New York] Engineer Band, as well as an image of U.S. Grant and Samuel B. Gordon, "Rushville, Gates Co. N.Y. private, sergeant, 1st N.J. Cavalry, Co C, 50th Engineers ?" The latter bears a 2-cent blue Washington stamp "playing Cards."
