A patriotic image of a segregated regiment. An alternate shot was used as the cover of the 1942 propaganda pamphlet "Negroes and the War," but without naming the regiment. The caption on verso of this publicity photograph reads "Negroes and the War: On parade, the 41st Engineers at Ft. Bragg, N.C. in color guard ceremony." This example was received at a newspaper on 16 January 1943.
