Second Spanish edition of the Book of Mormon, a new translation printed for the use of the Mexican mission at a time when fewer than 3,000 Mormons resided in Mexico. Larger numbers of Mormon colonists had lived in Mexico before being driven out in the 1910 Mexican Revolution; some were beginning to return by 1920. The inked stamps invite the bearer to Sunday services at 2131 1st Street at the corner of Chicago, serviced by Trolley P, apparently in Mexico City. 8 examples in OCLC and none traced at auction.
