First English edition of a tract based on Joseph Smith's 1841 revelation, asking the rulers of the earth to join in the work of the church. Less controversially, it requests rights for the beleaguered Saints: "Extend the broad banner of the constitution and laws over their homes, cities, firesides, wives, and children, that they may cease to be butchered, martyred, robbed, plundered, and driven."
