The first image is captioned in the negative "Mormon Tabernacle 250 long, will seat 8000 persons." It was apparently taken circa 1866 or 1867, shortly before the project's completion, but the mount dates from after 1875. The second image is titled "Mormon Tabernacle, Salt Lake," and its mount dates from circa 1890.
