The arrested men and women are charged with a variety of crimes including white slavery, sodomy, incest, fornication, prostitution, father of an illegitimate child, rape, attempted rape, and adultery. Silver prints, the images ranging from 3x4 to 3 1/4x5 1/4 inches (7.6x10.2 to 8.3x13.3 cm.); all but 7 stapled to index cards or mounted; each with identifying information, either typed or written in ink, on verso or on mount verso, and approximately 8 identified by name in red ink, on recto; with a triplicate set. 1920s-50s
