Includes men who were charged with minor crimes from box car burglary, vagrancy, and bootleggering, to robbery, larceny, and disorderly conduct. Silver prints, all but one are diptychs, each approximately 2 3/4x4 1/2 inches (7x11.4 cm.), each mounted or stapled to period card stock, with Bertillon measurements from the Portland, Oregon or Spokane, Washington Police Department printed on verso, and handwritten notations indicating the name of the criminal, their physical characterisitics, arresting officer, date, and nature of their crime, in ink; many additionally stapled to period index cards. 1906-28
