Peculiar astronomical representations of the geocentric Muggletonian universe. The Muggletonians were a small religious sect founded by Lodowick Muggleton and John Reeves in the 1650s. The sect continued to have a haphazard existence through Victorian times. Isaac Frost, who prepared the plans for the engravings, was a member of the sect and is responsible for spherically illustrating the Muggletonian theories.
