A rare survival from the heyday of disc-jockey/radio personality Douglas "Jocko" Henderson and his Rocket Ship Revue which took place at Harlem's famous Apollo Theater. This show featured the Temptations, a rhythm and blues group that like many others of the period crossed over into the emerging rock and roll scene in New York and nationwide.
