(MUSIC.) Big 3 *** Attraction, a Tornado of Rhythm & Blues, Checker Recording Star Little Milton. Poster in pink and black, 22 x 14 inches, on card stock; numerous incisions in images area (apparently from use as a cutting mat) but without loss of image, moderate edge wear, minor dampstaining and a few light creases at edges, mount remnants on verso; inked St. Louis dealer's stamp in lower right margin. Np, circa 1962-63

A window card for a tour headlined by the popular blues singer and guitarist James Milton Campbell, better known as "Little Milton." Touring with him were his former bandmates, pianist / singer Fontella Bass and sax player Oliver Sain. The poster mentions two 1962 hits, Milton's "I Need Somebody" and "Brand New Love" by Bass, and also the short-lived label Bobbin Records, which disappeared in 1963.
