Additional Details

A famous piece of music with an intriguing association. Manuel Fenellosa came to the United States from Spain with his brother-in-law Mario Emilio. Emilio was the father of Luis Emilio, who wrote A Brave Black Regiment, the history of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Regiment. No one seems to know who the lyricist, "R.T.L." might have been.
