In her biography of the twins, (Fearfully and Wonderfully Made), Joanne Martell cites and illustrates another similarly signed carte-de-visite taken at the Philadelphia studio Temple of Art. Offered here with a highly exaggerated version of the girls as they appeared on a trade card advertisement for their act while in England.
