Jewel "Pepper" Welsh and Edwina "Salt" Evelyn were both born in 1922. They were a popular nightclub and venue act incorporating song, dance and comedy. "Pepper" had an unusual fifteen minute routine in which she utilized rhythm, flash and vernacular dance, while "Salt" kept a comedic routine going. The pair continued to work into the 1950s.
