Additional Details

A beautiful banner for a traveling company, probably meant to be hung outside the theatre. We have tentatively dated the present banner by the active dates of the company that made it and the materials used to make it. The Baker-Lockwood Company was founded in Chicago in 1847, but after the great fire of 1871, moved to Kansas City.
