Folio, contemporary 1/2 calf over marbled boards, moderate wear; minor wear and foxing to contents except as noted; some pieces bear the signature of early owners Caroline Leathem or Susan Hooper, and the front board bears Hooper's gilt nameplate. Most of this music was published in Boston by either Gottlieb Graupner (11 pieces) or George K. Jackson (6 pieces). Also included are two pieces composed and published by Oliver Shaw of Providence, and one each published in New York, Philadelphia, and Charleston, SC. Several of the pieces are on patriotic themes, such as the first offering, "Massachusetts March," "President Monroe's March," and "Boston Cadets March." One song is billed "as Performed at the Amphitheatre and Charleston Circus" in South Carolina. In full:
