Top Ten hits like Sam and Dave's 'I'm a Soul Man' and Percy Sledge's 'When a Man Loves a Women' went platinum around the world, and Germany was one of the hottest markets. This concert took place in the fall of 1967, at Frankfurt's KongressHall and featured the famous Sam and Dave orchestra with a full brass section. It is said that after one tour with them in 1967, Otis Redding refused to appear with Sam and Dave because they so completely stole the show.
