A vast archive with prints depicting John Glenn, Neil Armstrong, and Scott Carpenter. The group includes photographs of satellites and rockets awaiting launch; some images made from orbiting aircraft; astronauts performing flight tests; survival training in the jungles of Panama and the deserts of Nevada; behind the scenes views at headquarters, scientists at work; and artist renderings of aircraft launches and missions (including some futuristic views of the future of space travel). Also includes three chromogenic prints, one from Apollo 11.
