Group of 24 color photographs, including the iconic image by Neil Armstrong of Buzz Aldrin walking on the moon, the Earthrise, and many more.
The group includes images from Apollo 11, 12, and 17. There are three different examples of the Man on the Moon, two Earthrises, and images of the lunar surface with modules and astronauts in the frame. Chromogenic prints, most of the images measuring approximately 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches (24.1x19.1 cm.), and the reverse, some slightly smaller, most on sheets slightly larger, the earliest prints 7 inches (17.8 cm.) square, the largest mounted image 10 1/2x10 3/8 inches (26.7x26.3 cm.), 3 mounts 14x11 (2) and 15 3/4x14 inches (35.6x27.9 and 40x35.6 cm.), five with the red printed NASA credit and notation on recto, one with a black numeric notation on recto, six with a numeric stamp on verso, nine with the backprinted NASA credit and caption. 1968-72
