First edition. Bartram was a botanist who accompanied Conrad Weiser on a diplomatic mission to the Iroquois. The final 16 pages are devoted to a letter from another important naturalist, Peter Kalm of Sweden, which includes the first English-language scientific description of Niagara Falls.
