The 1857 session includes important acts on establishing roads and ferries, judicial procedures and taxation. The 1858 session includes acts to incorporate various towns in the territory (including Nebraska City), an act to incorporate the University of Nebraska, an act to incorporate the Grand Lodge of Free Masons in Nebraska and other laws relating to roads, mail, etc. The 1862 session includes election laws and the organization of the Nebraska Volunteers. The 1864 session includes cattle laws and laws on the incorporation of railroad companies.<
