The first is entitled "New Bedford," with 5 charming cyanotypes depicting schooners parked at the wharf, stately stone buildings, and tree-lined streets. The second album depicts Smith College, with more than 160 photographs, comprising 30 lyrical pastoral cyanotypes of the campus, co-educational recreational activities, cross dressers, and "female friendship," as well as a man's trip throughout the United States. Cyanotypes (total of 35) and silver prints (130), 4 3/4x6 3/4 inches (12.1x17.1 cm.), and smaller, the first with handwritten captions below the images. Oblong small 4tos, calligraphic cloth and gilt-lettered cloth; the first with ties. Circa 1900
