A list of property auctioned from 3 October to 1 December 1835 by Penoyer and Charles H. Haswell. On verso are statements witnessed by Cornelius Van Wyck Lawrence as the first popularly elected mayor of New York. The bottom portion of the document appears to have been cut out, which would have listed sales after 1 December. 25 lots are listed, mostly New York real estate, but also including "30,000 acres land in Texas," "30 shares of Colorado stock," and 438 lots in Rahway, NJ sold in 3 groups.
