Pair of super-panoramas of the south and north sides of West 37 Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues; each is approximately 15 feet long and in 21 and 20 parts respectively. Roll-out silver prints, overall size of south side is 12x182 inches and north side is 12x179 inches. Each silver print is 12x9 inches and contains Veltri's hand stamp on verso. 1966

Photographer John Veltri was commissioned by the engineering firm Leonard S. Wegman & Co. to photograph each and every building, parking lot, and shaftway on 37th Street, an extension of the bustling Garment District. The City of New York planned on refurbishing the block to erect an arcade; plans of the firm's models are included.<
