An interesting automotive scene featuring two small numbered racing cars in the background. Conveniently, this image was closely analyzed on the Vanderbilt Cup Races blog as their "Mystery Foto #59" in 2014. They identified Van Ausdall's Hotel as the current Harbor Mist Inn in Cold Spring Harbor, the license plates as issued in 1914, and the Interboro Brewery as active from 1913 to 1920. The race, however, has not been identified.
