Includes several compelling aerial views, the bridges of the East River, the city's skyscrapers, cranes, containers, large vessels (including the SS Queen Elizabeth, Mauretania, United States, and Independence), piers, workers, helicopters, loading and unloading, as well as the New Jersey port views. Silver prints, each approximately 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches (24.1x19.1 cm.), and the reverse, each with a Port Authority label with the typed description, date, and negative number, and a few also with additional notations, in pencil, all on verso; about 10 with tissue overlays, each with additional notations, in pencil. 1950-54
