It is very unusual to see a large run of Bromley atlases for New York City; we have only ever encountered them in individual volumes or partial runs. Each of the present volumes was updated approximately twice a year with small onlaid pieces of paper that were used to note changing lot ownership, new buildings, wharves, etc.
