These volumes allow for updating by the placement of colored mounts to show the changing city. They also include printed indices mounted to the front enpapers which update the volumes. So while some of the volumes are copyrighted in the 1910s, with the addition of the mounts and indices, they are configured to show New York City into the 1960s.
