Marine Midland Bank had about 150 employees in the World Trade Center on the 23rd and 24th floors; in 1995, their space was taken by the insurance firm SCOR U.S., which remained there until the tower collapsed in 2001. This packet includes a cover page, three pages of narrative description on the proposed renovations, a construction and demolition plan, and mechanicals for the bank's corner of the 23rd floor. with-- 21 similar plans from 1989 by the design firm of Mancini Duffy for offices of Hong Kong Shanghai Bank (Marine Midland's parent company) in 5 World Trade Center, one of the adjacent smaller towers. Both banks are now operated under the HSBC name.
