Pair of albums containing more than 230 photographs, comprising a binder with 55 industrial photographs of the 63rd Street Subway expansion, with views of men drilling through through gigantic slabs of granite, engineering feats of tunnel reinforcement and bustling street scenes by Gill Photographers, Fred Gasparini, and M. Ostergaard; and a photo album entitled "Thirty Wall Street," with 180 small-format prints detailing subway expansion in lower Manhattan, with 6 photographs mounted to each page, including laborers excavating tunnels, handling heavy machinery, demolishing buildings, in addition to close ups of equipment and caissons. Silver and chromogenic prints, the small format prints measure 2 3/4x4 inches (5.7x10.2 cm.), with typewritten captions, and the medium format 9 1/2x7 inches (24.1x17.8 cm.), with a caption label and credit on verso.
