(OIL PRODUCTION) An album with 24 photographs depicting the operations of Conewango Refining Oil Company, Pennsylvania. The album is subtitled Originators and Sole Manufacturers of Genuine HM and Genuine LM Pure Pennsylvania Bright Stock, Warren, Pennsylvania. The images describe the operations of the plant, including images of the interior and exteriors, as well as railroad cards and the mechanisms of production; with one image showing the factory workers being fed lunch in the company canteen by waitresses ("Bright Stock Inn"). Silver prints, the images measuring 7 1/4x9 1/2 inches (18.4x24.1 cm.), and the reverse, linen-backed, each with a caption in the negative and the first with a photographer's credit (Thomas Studio) and the title, one photograph with a date and technical notations related to the plant in pencil on verso.
