Additional Details

Joseph C. Miller (1868-1927) was one of three partners in the 110,000-acre Miller Brothers 101 Ranch in Ponca City, OK, and later led the related 101 Ranch Wild West Show which competed with Buffalo Bill Cody. These three documents assert that Miller did "unlawfully move . . . four cars of cattle . . . to the city of Kansas City . . . to a point outside of the quarantine district prescribed by the Secretary of Agriculture, and without having a permit in writing from an inspector."
