Folio, 19½x12 inches, original plain paper boards, spine perished and covers detached; large untrimmed deckle-edge sheets; occasional foxing, several plates including the first general chart of tracks and chart of New Guinea with a slight angled binder's cut along central folds excising a touch of printed matter. An unusual separate atlas of the plates ordinarily interspersed throughout the three text volumes of Hakesworth's "First Voyage". This volume would correspond to a second edition, with the inclusion of the large folding chart of Tierra del Fuego.
