Butternut Bread was a product from one of the many inter-related Hostess Brands. Charles Schulz had a long association with the company as they sponsored many of his animated Peanuts/Charlie Brown TV specials, and his characters were licensed to appear on Hostess/Dolly Madison product packaging.
