Colophon with Hillside Press label pasted over Pendel Press imprint; bookplate of Carl Sutton; laid in is a Penmaen Press note with "1 of 4 in McC's possession" added in pencil, laid into press-stamped envelope. The press's name was changed from Pendle Press to Hillside Press, then ultimately to Penmaen Press (after Gerard Manley Hopkins' poem "Penmaen Pool") when McCurdy found another printer in Beacon Hill, Boston, using the same name--Penmaen Press records, Dodd Research Center, University of Connecticut, Storrs.
