John D. Coxe (1752-1824) tracked the rents and expenses for his extensive land holdings in this fragmentary ledger. Listed property consists mostly of Philadelphia houses, but also a few entries for the Coxe Tract in Oneida County, NY and portions of the family''s "Carolana Patent" in the south.
