Robert Shoemaker Dana (1833-1915) was a Civil War surgeon who settled in Morrisville in 1866. Among these views, most notable is an ink and wash drawing captioned on verso "Original Bridge between Morrisville and Trenton over the Delaware River," 6 1/2 x 8 3/4 inches, copied from a published work and supplemented by Dana's memory. Also included are three pencil sketches of Dana's Morrisville house and barn.
