(PENNSYLVANIA.) Set of wooden medallions from 1876 World's Fair in their original illustrated case. 6 wooden relief medallions, each 2 1/2 or 3 inches across, with no wear noted. In their original cardboard folding case, 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches, trimmed in gilt, with a lithograph lining the interior upper case titled "Bird's Eye View of the International Exhibition Buildings, 1876"; starting to separate at joint, other minor wear. [Philadelphia, 1876]

A handsome souvenir presentation. The medallions depict George Washington, Director General Alfred Goshorn, the Exposition's main building, Memorial Hall, Independence Hall, and Exposition President Joseph Hawley.
