With a host of images depicting this chameleon-like figure at different stages of his career in a variety of roles. Also includes images of children performing for the camera, some in fanciful costumes. Silver prints, the images measuring 3 1/2x5 1/2 to 4 1/2x6 1/2 inches (8.9x14 to 11.4x16.5 cm.), mounted recto/verso, each captioned, in German and in white ink, below the picture. Oblong 4to, leatherette, worn; ties; contents clean and bright. 1900s-30s
