Small 8vo, 19th-century calf, joints starting; minor worming, a few early annotations, 2 pages of manuscript notes at end. Lacking the original map, but with another inserted early folding map of the Americas by J. Autheman[?] trimmed and repaired with separations at folds. First edition, second issue. A history of the Spanish conquest of Peru and South America produced for the Belgian market. European Americana 567/3; Palau 13928; Sabin 1761n. Antwerp: Jean Beller, 1567.

Folio, later 1/2 calf, moderate wear; inscription erased from title page, moderate worming, minor dampstaining toward rear. A history of Peru, Ecuador and Chile by a Belgian Augustinian theologian and historian. Based in part on Calancha's 1638 "Coronica Moralizada del Orden de San Augustin en el Peru."
