Additional Details

This elegant gentleman, whom we were unable to identify, would seem to be someone of importance; perhaps a veteran of the Civil War or a high ranking member of a lodge. The photograph itself might have been made from a painting, or perhaps from a daguerreotype or tintype that had been enhanced.
