William Grinage (1866-1925) was an African American artist and photographer from Frederick, Maryland. He is noted for his oil portrait of Francis Scott Key, author of the Star Spangled Banner, which was commissioned in 1924 by the Kiwanis of Frederick, and today hangs in the Frederick County Historical Society.
