Additional Details

A wonderful "slice of life" in the exciting decade between 1920 and 1930, as seen through the eyes of a young black middle-class woman as she traveled to Portland, Oregon and other parts of the country including Boley, Oklahoma; Omaha, Nebraska; Oakland, California, and Hot Springs, Arkansas. A series of three larger photos in the front of the album show the album-maker's "friends at my 'leave-taking' for Portland, Oregon," taken at a train station.
