Additional Details

A beautiful image of a young girl, perhaps 6 or 7 years old, in her Easter outfit, an Easter bunny at her feet. James Van De Zee (1886-1983) is considered to be the quintessential Harlem Renaissance photographer. He is best known for his portraits, though Van Der Zee enjoyed "tinkering" with double exposures that combined things like the spirit of a deceased person rising from their body as they lay in state.
