first editions and with the exception of "images of the south" and the trade edition of "photographs," all are signed and or inscribed. Eudora Welty (1909-2001), author and photographer, was born in Jackson, Mississippi. She is the author of numerous works, among them Delta Wedding and The Optimist's Daughter. She was the recipient of numerous prizes for her writing and photography, most of which deals with the South she grew up in. The present group represents some of the best of her work.
