Additional Details

The official trial proceedings of Captain Kidd. Although some pirates were unapologetic outlaws, Kidd walked a fine line between piracy and officially sanctioned privateering, and some today still insist upon his innocence. Upon being told he was to hang, Kidd concluded these proceedings by protesting "My Lord, it is a very hard Sentence. For my part, I am the innocentest Person of them all." We hope this volume will prove helpful in searching for Kidd's buried treasure, although we can make no guarantees on that point.
