Additional Details

These amateur models sought work from LA-based Parliament Publications, which published men's/adult magazines (Tip Top, Black Magic, Pussycat, and Cloud 9). A growing enterprise in the sexually liberated period of 1970s, the need for models reflected the lack of professionals who were available. As the demand for models increased Parliament made 'casting' calls looking for suitable new talent. including 'girl-next-door' and post-hippie types. At the time, Parliament was one of the largest publishers and distributors of adult magazines.
