Additional Details

Another campaign broadside from the Jackson re-election campaign, this one from Westchester County, New York. It also lists Martin Van Buren for vice president, William Marcy (later Secretary of State) for New York governor, and other candidates for state and local office.
Printed below are the minutes of two local Democratic Republican meetings held on 18 October 1832, reflecting the chaotic party alignments of the period. The first group resolves "that the different divisions of the Jackson party unite" to "support the re-election of Andrew Jackson." No other copies traced, at auction or on OCLC.
