This unusual and attractive piece was commissioned for the centennial. It includes 18 portraits of important historical figures, with Washington at the center, Lincoln at top left, and most of the early presidents along the inner border along with other founding fathers. The arms of each state are presented on the outer border. Not in Hart; OCLC lists one copy (at the American Antiquarian Society), and none have been traced at auction.
