On 12 April 1945, Roosevelt wrote this radio address, expecting to deliver it the following night to commemorate Thomas Jefferson's birthday. He died that afternoon. This broadside printing is illustrated with Roosevelt's portrait superimposed over Jefferson's. It closes with inspiring words: "The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today. Let us move forward with strong and active faith."
